Itinerary
Day 1
Doi Suthep + Hmong Hilltribe Village + Local Market + Cooking shool
Pick up from the hotel, driving out of the city to the Doi Suthep – Pui National Park to the mountain
Be ready for exercising time by walking up 306 steps to the temples or taking the funicular to the temple with the attitude at 1,100 ms above the sea level.
See the Northern Thai dented corner golden pagoda which contain the relic of the Lord Buddha. Here you can also get a chance to get a holy blessing and wrist tiding ceremony from the Buddhist monk.
Enjoy with the panorama view of Chiang Mai City.
After the temple, continue to Hmong Hilltribe Village, looking around and take some amazing pictures before the returning back to the city for having lunch at the local restaurant
Continue 45 mins drive to Sourthern Chiang Mai to visit a The Smile Organic Farm Cooking School, stop at a local market on the way for a brief market tour.
After arrival The Smile Organic Farm Cooking School you were greeted by the host family. then start to explore the local garden which the local people usually have in their property with many different kinds of plants and herbs which are used as the ingredient.
Then prepare yourselves and get ready to cook in the local style. The food mainly you are going to cook will be local food and would be top secret as it is specially prepared by the host family on spot. The information that you would have to inform is what you could eat or avoid and the most important is how spicy food you could handle with.
Then now you are ready to surprise! The cooking place is hidden in the local village which could give you a very special atmosphere.
Try cooking in the local style with the pottery stove and using charcoal instead of the gas, it would be a unique and unforgettable time for you. After cooking, have dinner that you cook by yourself!! before returning back to your hotel in Chiang Mai
Day 2
Wachirathan Falls + twin pagoda + The peak of Doi Inthanon + Hmong market + rice terraces + organic coffee farm
Pick you up at the hotel’s lobby at 07.00 – 07.30 AM , then drive out of the city to Southern Chiangmai where the Doi Inthanon National Park is located around 1h30mins.
Let’s visit the Rainbow Waterfall (Wachirathan Falls) where you can see the rainbow from the highest waterfall in the national park!
Next, we’ll visit a twin pagoda up in the mountains with a bird’s-eye view of the beautiful flower garden!, looking around and take stunning pictues
Visit the peak of Doi Inthanon, which is universally known as the highest peak in the country!
and then let’s see the local market (Hmong market), enjoy looking around and taking pictures, Here you can shop for some homemade food and produce that making by the local hill tribe as well!!
Stop by a local restaurant, enjoying lunch with delicious Thai food!
in the afternoon we willl trek for 2 hours to the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail to see rice terraces, swim in the waterfall, visit the organic coffee farm and taste local coffee (non chemical) served by the local Karen tribe !
